Who it's for

Students in higher education at Polish universities. You need an enrolment certificate plus proof of funds for living costs and health insurance.

Working while studying

Full-time students can work in Poland without a separate work permit. This is one of the main advantages of the student card.

After graduation

Graduates can apply for a card to look for work, or straight away for a work-based card. We help you choose a route with no gap in legal stay.

Common student mistakes

An outdated university certificate, no proof of funds, insurance that doesn't cover the whole period. We check everything before filing.

How filing works

Since 27 April 2026 applications are online only, through MOS, signed with Profil Zaufany or an electronic signature. The office then calls you in for fingerprints. We fill in the form, check attachments and remind you of deadlines.

Filing on time

File no later than the last day of your legal stay on a visa or previous card. You then remain legal until the decision. Since 27 April 2026 the office issues a filing certificate (zaświadczenie) in MOS instead of a passport stamp.

Changing university or programme

A change may affect your card. Tell us early and we'll say whether a new application is needed.
