Status in MOS
The new MOS shows some status changes and sends email notifications. But it isn't full case tracking. Check your email, including the spam folder — system messages often end up there.
Official letters: e-Doręczenia and post
Summonses, decisions and other official letters are sent via e-Doręczenia or by post to your address for service. Collect them on time: reply deadlines run from delivery, and an uncollected letter can also be treated as delivered.
Your case number (sygnatura) — keep it
Every case has a number. You'll find it on a summons or your filing certificate. Quote it in every contact with DUW, in a ponaglenie and when talking to us.
Is your card ready to collect?
If the decision is positive, you collect the card in person after you're notified it's ready. DUW also has a service to check whether your card is ready. A CUKR card must be collected within 60 days of notification.
What silence from the office means
A long silence doesn't always mean a problem — your case may be waiting in the queue. But if the legal deadline has passed (60 days from when it started), you have the right to file a ponaglenie.
How we help
We review letters from the office, check whether the deadline has passed and prepare a ponaglenie. We also take cases filed without us.
Case stages in order
- sending the application in MOS and the UPO,
- formal review and the filing certificate,
- fingerprint summons and showing originals,
- possible requests for more documents,
- the decision (by post or e-Doręczenia),
- collecting the card in person after notification.
At each stage you may receive a letter with a deadline. Keep track — they determine when the legal clock starts.
How to read a summons (wezwanie)
A summons shows the case number, a list of missing documents or actions and a deadline, usually from delivery. Reply on time and keep proof of sending or filing. If something is unclear, send us a photo of the letter and we'll explain what to do.
Set up e-Doręczenia
An e-Doręczenia inbox lets you receive official letters electronically and react faster. A letter in the inbox counts as delivered even if you don't open it.
